Canva doesn’t have to feel so complicated: introducing my Canva Calm Community
If you run a business, chances are Canva has become one of those tools you know you need to use.
Whether you’re creating social media graphics, presentations, PDFs, worksheets, lead magnets or other content for your business, Canva can be a brilliant tool.
But lets be honest.
Canva can sometimes feel much harder than it should.
Maybe you’ve spent ages trying to get something centred, only to move it backwards and forwards until you’re ready to give up.
Maybe you know exactly what sort of image you want, but you can’t find the right search term — so you’re still scrolling 20 minutes later.
Maybe you’ve got an idea in your head, but you just can’t seem to make Canva look like the picture you’ve got in your mind.
Or perhaps Canva has changed again, something has moved, and you’re wondering where on earth the feature you used last week has gone.
Then there are all the tools.
Which one do you actually need?
Where do you find it?
What does it do?
And why does something that should take five minutes somehow take half an hour?
If you’ve experienced any of this, you’re definitely not alone.
These are exactly the kinds of frustrations I’ve heard from women in business when I’ve been researching what they find difficult about using Canva.
And honestly, I get it.
Canva is brilliant but when you don’t know where to look, what to use or how to make something work, it can quickly become another source of frustration on an already very long to-do list.
Sometimes what you need isn’t another Canva template.
You need a bit of Canva help.
You need someone to explain things in a way that actually makes sense.
And sometimes you just need somewhere to ask, “How do I do this?”
I’m Louise, founder of The Flow Space, where I help busy working women feel more confident using Canva for their businesses.
That’s exactly why I created my Canva Calm Community.
A place to feel calmer and more confident in Canva
The Canva Calm Community is the membership inside The Flow Space, designed for busy working women who want to feel more confident using Canva for their business, without the overwhelm.
It’s not about becoming a graphic designer.
It’s not about knowing every Canva feature.
And it’s definitely not about spending hours watching tutorials before you can actually get something done.
It’s about learning Canva in a practical, manageable way for you, so you can create what your business needs with more confidence.
You’ll have a place to learn, ask questions, get Canva support and build your confidence at your own pace.
And because Canva is constantly changing, having somewhere to come back to when you’re stuck can make a huge difference.
You don’t need to be “good at Canva or use it alone”
This is something I really want to emphasise.
You don’t need to be creative.
You don’t need a design background.
You don’t need to know where every button is.
And you don’t need to spend hours learning Canva before you can use it.
Whether you’re completely new to Canva or you’ve been using it for a while but still don’t feel confident, you can learn at your own pace.
You just need somewhere to start and somewhere to ask when you get stuck.
That’s what I’m creating with my Canva Calm Community.
A supportive space where you can learn without feeling silly for asking a question.
Where you can take things at your own pace.
Where you can get Canva support when you need it, rather than spending hours searching Google or watching another tutorial that doesn’t quite answer your question.
Where you can finally stop thinking:
“Why can’t I make this look right?”
and start thinking:
“Actually, I can do this.”
What will you find inside?
The Canva Calm Community will bring together practical Canva learning, support and community in one place. It will be hosted on Skool.
You’ll have access to my Canva Calm course, giving you the foundations you need to feel more comfortable using Canva.
You’ll be able to work through the lessons at your own pace, revisit things whenever you need to and put what you’re learning into practice.
But it’s not just about the course.
It’s also about having somewhere to ask questions when you’re stuck.
Somewhere to get guidance when you can’t quite work out how to do something.
And somewhere to connect with other women who are learning Canva for their businesses too.
Because sometimes, knowing you’re not the only one who has spent 20 minutes trying to move one element into the right place is reassuring!
Canva should make your business easier
There are always things to learn.
Always another platform.
Always another task sitting on your list.
Canva shouldn’t add to that feeling.
It should give you a simple way to create the things your business needs.
And I want the Canva Calm Community to help you get to that point.
Not by trying to teach you everything Canva can do.
But by helping you understand the things you actually need when you’re using Canva for business.
So that you can open Canva and feel:
“I’ve got this and I can do it.”
My Canva Calm Community will officially launch on 28 September 2026.
I’m opening the doors with a special founding member price of £19 per month for the first 20 members.
Once 20 people have joined, the membership price will increase to £29 per month for anyone joining afterwards.
So if you’ve been looking for Canva help, Canva support or a simple way to learn Canva, without having to figure it all out on your own, this is a great opportunity to get in from the beginning and secure the lower monthly price.
This isn’t about creating perfect designs.
It’s about creating calm around Canva and alleviating the isolation.
Learning what you need at your pace.
Getting support when you’re stuck.
And finally feeling like Canva is something you can use confidently, rather than something you have to battle with.
Creating calm one design at a time.
